Learning to Slide

Wow - I have two months of pictures to catch y'all up on. We'll start with the pictures from this weekend of The Monster and her new slide. She's got a slide at school, and we take her to an indoor playground with slides, but she still hasn't gotten the hang of it. If you send her down by herself, she falls back and goes down flat on her back.

What she likes to do is climb up a little bit from the bottom, turn around, stick her hands up in the air, and when she slides the two inches to the bottom, yell "yay!" It's freakin' cute.

Here are pictures of our new backyard slide and new ball.

Her own form of sliding:
The new ball. She kept throwing it in the store and then fussing when it rolled away. She gets that turkey-ness from her dad.
And this is why Big D and I work so hard: cuddles. Though she looks like she's trying to get away from me, doesn't it? See turkey-ness comment above. :-)

Cool slide! Looks like lots of fun, especially the last 2 inches of it!
