Affirmation

Wow! I am sitting here at work hating the crap that I'm doing right now (typical for most of us, I suppose). Anyway, I prayed that God give me a sign that there is something better around the corner and that things will be okay as our savings decreases and things get more and more scary financially. Right as I finished praying, I heard the bells of the nearby Methodist church ringing. I have been here in this office for four months, and I've never heard those bells ring before. Well-timed coincidence? Maybe. A sign that things will be okay? I think so! I'm overwhelmed and even tearing up a bit. It's really nice to have a little pat on the back during this scary time in my life.
